Corrected WM5 anomaly that caused unexpected crashing of the GUI, particularly when displaying dialog boxes. This manifiested itself when:
1 Displaying the About box
2 Displaying the username/password box

The first most would not notice, but the second will cause a connection attempt to stall if: a) you have a Private Key password, and/or b) you need to give your username/password to the server. In those cases the system will wait for the user to enter the needed items, but the dialog to do so will not be visible.

This appears to have come about when I restructured the project for internationalization and used a 'AFX Extension Dll' for my language dll. Interestingly, WM2003 users appear unaffected. Initial field tests report success with this fix.

Additional changes:

* Minor text changes in Portuguese GUI
* corrected broken help file linkage in Portuguese build
* reverted character encoding in French, Italian, and Portuguese help files from UTF-8 to default; the characters were coming out weird. Let me know if they are wrong, I'm not fluent in those languages, alas.

My apologies to those inconvenienced over the past week with these defects and my gratitude for patience in the matter.

Hi,

I have tested the french localisation and no pb for the translation.

Cepexa

PS:

You said that "WM2003 users appear unaffected" by the issue that this build correct. Does it mean you are sure or do you want we test it ? If you need I can try to create a Password protected Private Key

Seems to work fine (tested on Polish transaltion). The only problem was missing instance after few minutes of connection. It is missing from the list of instances. It has been described on the forum already, so it is another topic. Generally it is perfect :)

cepexa: I haven't had reports of the problem from WM2003 users, and haven't been able to reproduce it with my devices. Only WM5 users have reported the problem to-date, and I have reproduced it in some form in-house. Short story (too late) is I don't think I need you to test the password feature. You're of course welcome to do so if you wish for your own curiousity.

sq7ro: Yes, I've heard of that but haven't been able to reproduce that one yet to investigate. Is it a frequent occurence, or intermittent. I'm assuming this means that the connection is still up, but the dynamic pane for the management connection goes away and VPN instances shows it as 'orphan'? Is that accurate?
